Located on Portugal’s southern coast, the resort draws deeply on the region’s natural and cultural heritage. The finalist proposal echoes the fossilized cliffs of the Algarve, weaving a narrative of a habitat in silent harmony with its surroundings. To reinforce this intention, the project is staged through views and lighting that allow the layered buildings to dissolve into the landscape—as if they had emerged directly from the ground.
